Meet Noah!

6 year old Noah Schaefer from Moorhead, MN has been named the 2018 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals North Dakota Champion for Sanford Children’s Hospital in Fargo.

Noah was hospitalized for 10 days in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Sanford Children’s Hospital Fargo last fall where he was diagnosed with a rare and life-threatening disease called Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocyosis (HLH) which causes the immune system to attack healthy organs.

HLH does not stop Noah from doing the things he loves, like playing with Legos, watching the Minnesota Wild or wrestle with his dad and older brother Sam.
